| Vori is a picturesque village one kilometre west of Phestos. Its
stone houses are very well preserved and built in an excellent
fashion, so a visit to the village is imperative. However, the
most important sight in the village and the whole area, in fact,
is the Cretan Ethnology Museum, located in the village, which is
the result of an extraordinary effort. You will truly be left speechless
by the quality and quantity of the exhibits, as well as the way
