| Mochos and Krasi are traditional villages, charactensed by Cretan hospitality and ancient customs. They are part of the Municipality of Malia. Their main produce is oil, as the mountain slopes and valleys are full of olive trees. In Mochos, the centre of activities is the village square, which is surrounded by trees. Shops, tavernas, cafes and the church of Evaggelismos compose a harmonious traditional scene. There is a big festival in the village on August I 5th to celebrate its patron saint. |
