The tower of Aghios Petros 4th century BC.

The cylindrical tower of Aghios Petros raises its impressive stature ?n the slopes below the village of Aghios Petros. The base is 9.40 metres in diameter and is covered with a domed roof. There is no direct connection sport ween the base and the upper levels. The tower has at least five floors, which can be reached via an impressive, spiral staircase inside the structure, starting on the first floor. The reason for the tower was built for the purpose of sending torch signals.
