| Joined to the Greek mainland by the isthmus of Corinth this mulberry-leaf
shaped peninsula (hence its other name: Morea) is a tourist "must" second
only to Athens and Delphi. It includes the ancient sites of the
panhellenic Isthmian and Olympic games; the historic cities of
austere Sparta and licentious Corinth; the theater of Epidaurus
where Greek drama is presented each summer in a genuine setting,
